Driving ability

Servo power range and supporting motor range are also different in the solutions of different CNC suppliers. First of all, initial screening should be done from a matching motor type and power range. In particular, attention should be paid to whether the scheme of CNC machine tool includes torque motor, linear motor, motorized spindle belongs to synchronous motorized spindle or asynchronous motorized spindle, the rated current demand and overload current demand of the above motor, motorized spindle high speed demand, etc.

2. Full closed loop demand and dual drive demand

CNC machine tools, especially large and Heavy CNC machine tools, mostly have full closed loop and dual drive requirements. In the full closed-loop control scheme, it is necessary to choose among the range-coded grating, absolute value grating and ordinary incremental grating. At the same time, the CNC system should also support the corresponding feedback signal access.

Five axis control requirements

Five-axis machine tools need to be clear whether five-axis linkage or only five-surface machining, the corresponding choice of CNC system functions are different. For example, for five box processing, usually do not need RTCP, the choice is relatively large. At the same time, the five-axis function may involve CNC system suppliers in the export license, after-sales service, technical support and so on must also be seriously considered.

Production system requirements

NC system networking support becomes a necessary condition for production system integration. For NC machine tools to be incorporated into highly automated production systems, it must be clear that the NC system has corresponding access solutions, including low-level PLC input and output points directly connected to the advanced NC system built-in OPC server, according to the OPC standard to open the internal data of the NC system to users. In addition, for production systems, automated on-line workpiece detection and tool detection are also required to support the function.
